New version of the last picture, adding in the rest of the crew.
( Now I just need to work on scenery )
( Now I just need to work on scenery )
So I'm gonna try using this as a kind of scrap and WIP journal, as opposed to the journal of all emo-ness
( Let's play with lighting! )
Which is saying a lot for someone who's life can get pretty monotonous. (Get up, go to work, go home, relax, sleep, rinse, repeat). And then stuff happens.
Like, the complete and near total brake failure of my car on my way to work in winter. Yes indeed, my poor little 15 year old vehicle finally popped a brake line. Which is saying a lot since this is the first major problem I've come across with this car. Thankfully I caught this and decided to pull into the local Target store before getting on the highway, so no one was hurt except, obviously, my car.
Normally I would say that something like this would usually have me swearing profusely and hitting things in anger, beseeching the gods, "Why me?!?!" But its just so ludicrously silly that I just can't help but laugh. Had to call work and have someone come pick me up, during which I discovered that not only was I blessed with car trouble, but two others as well, one of which had just gotten his car out of the shop. Where apparently they murdered his battery. Its due to be fixed on Monday, and a friend was generous enough to loan me her car until mine is fixed, so that I do not have to brave the horror that is the bus system in this town. Combine this with the fact that it isn't a terribly expensive fix, and you can see why I consider this more of an adventure than an inconvenience. A little bit of spice in the routine will make anything entertaining.

And I have no idea what I'm doing.
So in lieu of that, holidays were fun even though I worked through all of them. New Year's hopefully will follow suit.
See you all in the new year!
